The hotel was founded in a more than 125 years old building that has a rich history; moreover, it was fully renovated in July 2014. Hotels historical heritage includes ancient brick walls and beautifully made ceiling vaults.<\/p>\n<p>Hotel \u2019Janne\u2019 is a lovely place for tourists and travellers who like unusual interior, its decorative elements were chosen by us with love and attention to small details. The rooms are equipped with restored furniture, beautifully hand-made tables from Zinger sewing machines and include other antique details as old-fashioned Mercedes Typewriters.<\/p>\n<p>On the rooftop of Hotel Janne, you can find very special inhabitants &#8211; honey bees. In the warmest months, everybody is welcomed to visit the beehives and learn a bit more about them. Honey gathered in the five beehives won the prize of the &#8220;Tastiest Honey in Latvia 2018&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>It is located in the quiet and full of nature \u0100genskalns area and nearby the hotel you can find the well known \u0100genskalns Market (\u0100genskalna tirgus) where you can spend your time shopping and buying organic products from local Latvian vendors. Also, next to the hotel is an architectural monument devoted to Pauls Stradins Clinical University Hospital that can be visited at any time of the day. Relating to the visiting Old Riga, it should be mentioned, that it is 10 minutes away from the hotel if you are using public transport (trolleybus number 5 stop is directly opposite the hotel). But if you are a nature lover and walking enthusiast, you will appreciate the amazing Mara\u2019s Lake and very popular Ark\u0101dijas Garden Park that is located only 500m away from us.
